How to read usage stats
Usage % is the percentage of teams in ranked play that include this Pokémon. Note that usage is per-team, not per-game — so multiple Pokémon can hit 30%+ usage simultaneously (each team has 6 slots).
Why usage matters for team building
If 30% of teams have Kingambit, you need an answer to Kingambit in 30% of your games. That means at least one of your six slots must be able to handle a +2 Swords Dance Sucker Punch under Supreme Overlord pressure. Practical answers: Garchomp (Earthquake OHKO at +0), Iron Hands (Drain Punch through chip), Tera Flying on bulky Pokémon.
Recent meta shifts
The +5.3% jump for Kingambit reflects players discovering Tera Flying late-game cleaner sets. The -2.0% for Slowking-Galar reflects Future Sight pivot teams falling out of favor as Iron Treads' Booster Speed Rapid Spin became more popular.
