  • Blizzard has 100% accuracy
  • Activates Snow Cloak (+20% evasion), Slush Rush (×2 Speed), Ice Body (1/16 HP heal)

Weather priority and overwriting

If two weather setters are present, the most recently switched-in setter's weather takes effect. So leading Pelipper vs. Torkoal, the slower one to switch in determines the weather. Primordial Sea (Primal Kyogre), Desolate Land (Primal Groudon), and Delta Stream (Mega Rayquaza) are "extreme weather" — they cannot be overwritten by normal weather setters.

How long does weather last?

  • Without Heat Rock / Damp Rock / Smooth Rock / Icy Rock: 5 turns
  • With the matching weather rock held: 8 turns
  • Drought / Drizzle / Sand Stream / Snow Warning abilities re-set weather indefinitely on each switch-in

Building a weather team

Standard structure: weather setter + 2-3 abusers + 2-3 utility. Example sun team: Torkoal (setter) + Charizard / Walking Wake / Bloodmoon Ursaluna (abusers) + Iron Hands / Ting-Lu / Iron Treads (utility). For team building, see our team builder tool.
