Annihilape @ Leftovers Ability: Defiant Tera Type: Water EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 SpD Careful Nature - Rage Fist - Drain Punch - Bulk Up - Taunt
Overview
Annihilape is the textbook bulky setup sweeper. Rage Fist scales with the number of times Annihilape has been hit (50 BP × hits taken, capped at 350). Bulk Up boosts Atk and Def. Drain Punch heals 50% of damage dealt. Tera Water removes Fairy, Flying, and Psychic weaknesses, giving Annihilape effectively zero weaknesses to break through.
Move analysis
Rage Fist accumulates damage as the game progresses — by turn 8 it's often 250+ BP. Drain Punch heals. Bulk Up sets up. Taunt prevents passive damage / status from walls (Toxapex Toxic, Blissey Wish).
Team partners
Garganacl (Salt Cure chip + Stealth Rock), Heatran (Lava Plume + Stealth Rock), Slowking-Galar (Chilly Reception), Iron Valiant (offensive partner).
What beats Annihilape
Tera Fairy Hatterene + Mystical Fire (avoids Rage Fist scaling), Specs Dragapult Shadow Ball (Ghost > Fighting in offensive matchup), Encore lock from Iron Valiant.
