Glimmora @ Focus Sash Ability: Toxic Debris Tera Type: Ghost EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe Timid Nature - Earth Power - Sludge Wave - Stealth Rock - Power Gem
Overview
Glimmora is the premier hazard lead in Gen 9. Toxic Debris auto-sets Toxic Spikes on contact, so even after Glimmora dies, opponents come in poisoned. Focus Sash + Stealth Rock guarantees you get hazards down turn 1 against any non-hazard-removing lead. Tera Ghost is the standard for spinblocking — Great Tusk Rapid Spin doesn't remove your hazards if you're Ghost-type.
Move analysis
Earth Power for Ground STAB and Heatran hits. Sludge Wave for Poison STAB and Fairy threats. Stealth Rock turn 1 mandatory. Power Gem for Tornadus/Talonflame coverage.
Team partners
Great Tusk (Spin defender), Iron Valiant (offensive partner), Kingambit (late-game cleaner with Defiant), Heatran (Stealth Rock backup).
What beats Glimmora
Tornadus (immune to Toxic Debris via Flying, Bleakwind Storm), Iron Bundle Freeze-Dry, Gholdengo Make It Rain, Hatterene Magic Bounce reflects hazards.
