Iron Valiant @ Booster Energy Ability: Quark Drive Tera Type: Steel EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe Naive Nature - Moonblast - Aura Sphere - Encore - Knock Off
Overview
Iron Valiant is the most versatile mixed attacker in Gen 9. Booster Energy + base 116 Speed = Quark Drive triggers Spe (since Spe is highest base stat), making it +50% Speed = 525 Spe at level 100. Naive nature keeps both attacking stats positive. The 4-attack set with Encore is the most consistent — but Calm Mind, Swords Dance, Substitute + 3 Attacks all see usage.
Move analysis
Moonblast for Fairy STAB and OHKO on Dragapult/Hydreigon. Aura Sphere for Fighting coverage on Ting-Lu/Heatran/Kingambit/Tyranitar. Encore traps Substitute / Calm Mind / setup users. Knock Off for Slowking-Galar, Blissey, and item removal.
Team partners
Great Tusk (Rapid Spin), Kingambit (Defiant punishes Intimidate, late-game cleaner), Gholdengo (Steel/Ghost defensive backbone), Iron Bundle (revenge kill insurance).
What beats Iron Valiant
Iron Bundle (outspeeds Valiant + Freeze-Dry), Roaring Moon Booster Speed (faster than Valiant after Tera), Toxapex (Regenerator + Haze), Tera Steel Hatterene Magic Bounce.
