Overview
Walking Wake is Sun's flagship special wallbreaker. Hydro Steam (instead of Hydro Pump) gets a 1.5× boost in Sun (instead of being halved by Sun). Combined with Booster Energy SpA, Walking Wake hits like a Specs Pokémon while staying flexible. Agility is the sleeper move — boosts Speed by 2 stages, letting Walking Wake function on non-Sun teams too.
Move analysis
Hydro Steam is the main attack in Sun (180 BP equivalent with STAB + Sun boost). Draco Meteor for non-Water resistant threats (Dragapult, Hydreigon). Flamethrower picks up neutral hits on Steels. Agility for setup outside Sun.
